FRCTL Audio Releases GRNi Lite FREE Granular Sampler VST

Granular Synthesis for Every Producer

Sound design enthusiasts and beatmakers looking to expand their sonic palette can now download FRCTL Audio GRNi Lite, a powerful free granular sampler designed for macOS, Windows, and Linux. While the developer previously released GRN Lite—a simplified audio effect designed to process incoming audio on a track—GRNi Lite tackles a completely different workflow. This instrument allows producers to drop in their own custom audio samples and instantly transform them into evolving textures, pads, and rhythmic soundscapes.

Workflow Integration & DAW Performance

Integrating seamlessly into major digital audio workstations like Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, and Studio One, GRNi Lite operates as a versatile virtual instrument plugin. By loading a source sample, you can slice, stretch, and granulate audio in real-time, giving you deep control over grain size, density, and playback positioning. Whether you are crafting cinematic ambient soundscapes, futuristic vocal chops, or glitchy percussion loops, this free VST/AU/AAX instrument provides an intuitive entry point into advanced granular sound manipulation without straining your CPU.
