The Crow Hill Company Free 100 Year Old Piano VST – 100% Free Virtual Instrument

Overview

The Crow Hill Company has just released the 100 Year Old Piano as part of its acclaimed Vaults series. This virtual instrument is offered at no cost and runs on both macOS and Windows, delivering a meticulously sampled, vintage piano sound that fits any genre.

Sound Character & Sampling

Recorded from a genuine century‑old upright, the instrument captures the natural resonance, subtle mechanical noise, and the warm tonal decay that only an aged piano can provide. The sample set includes multiple velocity layers, round‑robin alternates, and half‑pedal positions, giving producers realistic dynamic control.

DAW Integration

The 100 Year Old Piano ships in VST3, AU, and AAX formats, making it compatible with every major DAW—Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Studio One, and Pro Tools. Its lightweight DSP footprint ensures low CPU usage, so you can layer it with other instruments without taxing your system.
