FRCTL Audio’s GRNi Lite is a lightweight, stand‑alone granular sampler that arrives at a price of $0. Unlike the company’s earlier GRN Lite effect, GRNi Lite lets you import any audio file and reshape it with granular synthesis in real time. The plugin is built for modern DAWs and works on macOS, Windows and Linux without any extra runtime.

Granular Synthesis Engine

GRNi Lite offers a classic granular engine with adjustable grain size, density, pitch, and randomization. Users can control the playback position with a built‑in envelope or automate parameters via host automation. The interface is intentionally minimal, focusing on the core parameters that matter for sound‑design experiments, glitch textures, and evolving pads.
