Strezov Sampling Releases FREE String Contours: Solo Cello Sul Tasto VST Library

Orchestral Precision for Modern DAW Workflows

Strezov Sampling is renowned among professional composers and music producers for crafting some of the most detailed, high-end orchestral libraries in the industry. While their flagship cinematic instruments typically carry a premium price tag, the developer has earned a stellar reputation for releasing exceptional freebies that bring top-tier acoustic realism to home studios and professional mixing environments alike. Their latest release, String Contours: Solo Cello Sul Tasto, continues this tradition by offering a specialized, expressive solo string articulation directly for the industry-standard Native Instruments Kontakt Player.

The Sul Tasto Articulation & Sound Character

Recorded with meticulous attention to detail, this free Kontakt Player instrument captures the delicate, ethereal timbre of sul tasto playing—where the cello strings are bowed over or near the fingerboard. This bowing technique yields a uniquely warm, glassy, and breathy tone that sits beautifully in modern ambient arrangements, neoclassical scores, and cinematic pop productions. Whether you are layering delicate ostinatos in Logic Pro, shaping emotive chord progressions in Cubase, or building hybrid scores in Ableton Live, the library delivers nuanced dynamics and authentic expressive depth without weighing down your system RAM.

Native Kontakt Player Compatibility

One of the biggest advantages of String Contours: Solo Cello Sul Tasto is its full compatibility with the free Native Instruments Kontakt Player. Producers do not need the full retail version of Native Instruments Kontakt to run this library. Simply load the instrument into your existing plugin rack to instantly access intuitive controls, responsive articulation switching, and pristine acoustic audio quality. Head over to the official Strezov Sampling platform to claim your free download and integrate this gorgeous solo cello into your production template today.
